Mike Tompkins
Mr. Tompkins is the Haynesville and Eagle Ford Areas Land Manager at Paloma Resources, having joined the company in 2006. Mr. Tompkins is a Certified Professional Landman, with 26 years of experience with oil and gas leasing and land titles in South Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast. As an Independent Landman he has managed large crews while supervising many 3-D Seismic and lease acquisition Projects for various clients, including ARCO Oil & Gas Co., El Paso Production and Edge Petroleum Corp. He began his career in 1980 with Monsanto Oil & Gas Company working in Hidalgo and Starr Counties, Texas. Mr. Tompkins graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education in 1976.
Alice Parker
Ms. Parker is the Property Administration Manager for Paloma Resources. She joined the company in May, 2007 and is responsible for the administration and maintenance of all leases acquired and all wells drilled in the Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and North Texas Barnett Shale Project areas. Ms. Parker previously held the position of Manager – Division Orders/Lease Records for Edge Petroleum Corporation from 2004 to 2007 and Sr. Division Order Analyst from 1998 to 2004. From 1998 to 2004 she was responsible for the set up and maintenance of Division of Interest for all wells drilled by Edge. From 2004 to 2007 she supervised a staff responsible for the set up and maintenance of leases in the states of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and New Mexico as well as maintenance and set up of Division of Interest for all producing properties. Ms. Parker’s experience in the Land Department began in 1980 with General Crude Oil – which was acquired by Mobil Oil. She also worked for ConVest Energy, Energy Development Corporation, and Chevron prior to Edge Petroleum.
