Paloma is actively leasing areas in Tarrant county, Texas as part of a lease services agreement with a large, independant oil and gas company. In 2006-2008 Paloma actively generated, leased, and drilled many properties in Johnson and Tarrant Counties, Texas. Paloma operated all of its wells with 50-100% WI. the company licensed mulitple 3D survays in this area to support its efforts.


Paloma assembled an experienced team of Geoscientists, Engineers, and Land Personnel with extensive local knowledge of the geology, operations and mineral owners in Johnson and Tarrant Counties. Paloma managed a highly integrated technical, operating and land effort to execute its strategy.

Paloma's Team has evaluated, generated, and successfully drilled multiple opportunities for their previous employers within many of the active Shale Gas plays within the lower 48 US including the Barnett, Haynesville, Marcellus, Fayetteville, Floyd, Caney, and Woodford Shale plays.

Paloma sold all of its assets in in Johnson and Tarrant Counties to Chesapeake Energy Corp. in April 2008.
